Treatment depends on the injury!🤕

My first recommendation would be to get a treatment and sports massage from me 🤣 and then follow my aftercare advice but since that can’t happen here’s some advice.

There is a vast amount of studies for different remedies and myths used to help you recover from an injury, from exercise or from general muscle pain. 💪🏼

My advice - Listen to your body! If one of them feels wrong or making things worse then stop and either seek advice or try another remedy. None of these are guaranteed to help every injury or the same injury on two people. You need to find the right remedy for you.

Personally I use a combination of heat and ice therapy then I try to stretch 3-4 times a week with yoga and a foam roller.

Protect - Compress, Sleeve, Elasticated bandage, Immobilisation

Optimal Loading - Body Weight, Resistance Bands, Crutches, Weights

Heat - Wheat bag, Hot Water Bottle, Heat Pads, Hot Shower/Bath

Ice - Cold compress, Ice Water Bottle, Ice Pack, Cold Shower/Bath, Sea Swim

People with heart or lung problems should avoid any of these that can change their body temperature rapidly.
