On behalf of Stevie Campbell's family and with their permission to post these lovely photos, they'd like to thank everyone for attending his service yesterday and for the kind donations of £370 towards The Hibernian Community Foundation.

It was all things hibs green for Stevie's send off with green and white ribbons on the hearse and his coffin draped in a hibs flag that he used to take to the games. One last trip was organised for his funeral cortege to travel around his favoure place, Easter Road Stadium before heading along to Seafield Crematorium for his service. His family carried him in to the chapel as Hibs Heroes played loudly. In true Stevie style guests were welcome to take a shot of Jack Daniels after placing a piece of evergreen on to his coffin and the service came to a close with none other than Sunshine On Leith followed by a beautiful piano rendition of Glory Glory To The Hibees as the curtain gently closed over his coffin.

A truly personalised tribute to an wonderful husband, dad, brother, uncle, grampa and fellow hibee.

Hail or snow or thunderstorms he'd go.
To the angels high above.

With the family’s permission to share this photo.

Before we carried Elaine in for her service, we all got into our housecoats, as did Beverley the celebrant, just as Elaine would have loved. She was always most comfortable in her housecoat, with a warm cup of tea in hand.

It felt like the most fitting way to honour her, surrounded by love, warmth, and the little things that meant so much to her.

Stevie

(Edinburgh/Leith/Restalrig)

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Stevie, peacefully on 21st March, 2026, with his loving family by his side. Stevie was a cherished and loving dad to Jenna and Siobhan, dearly loved husband of Rhona, loving brother to Kenny, devoted Grampa to Summer and Willow and a good friend to many. A celebration of Stevie’s life will take place on Wednesday 8th April, 11am, at Seafield Crematorium. Stevie was a true Hibee through and through, to honour his passion, there will be a procession from the family home address which will take Stevie through Easter Road Stadium one final time before heading to the Crematorium. The family will put on a 53-seater coach which will transport mourners from Restalrig Road, pick up time 10.20am, to travel behind the family cortege, and will return all travelling in the coach to The Hibs Club afterwards where all are welcome. If you wish to secure a seat on the coach, we ask that you contact Jenna or Siobhan directly.

Formal attire not necessary, all the family ask is that you wear a splash of green, or Hibs attire.

On retiral of service, there will be an opportunity to make a charitable donation in Stevie’s name to The Hibs Community Foundation, a grassroots organisation which supports people in the local area including foodbanks, ensuring those most vulnerable don’t go without.
