Both bath bomb making sessions are now fully booked! Our clay model making session on Tuesday from 10am-1pm is drop-in so no need to book. Refreshments will also be provided.

How many recycled plastic bottles does it take to light up the High Street?

Nailsea Town Council are excited to be planning the Christmas 2023 lights for Nailsea High Street. This will include lovely new Christmas lighting using energy efficient lights made out of recycled plastic bottles.

Originally the Town council had planned to install new festoon lighting but due to a series of complications with installation this year, have now decided to re-evaluate if this type of lighting will add value to the display, with a review of the lighting after Christmas.

We are pleased to offer a FREE drop-in session for clay model making on Tuesday 24th October between 10am-1pm at 65 High Street. This is suitable for all ages and no booking is required.

We are also welcoming Art in Mind to 65 High Street on Wednesday 25th October to run FREE bath bomb making workshops! This activity is suitable for primary and secondary school aged children and will require booking a space.

With the October Half Term holiday fast approaching, we are so pleased to welcome Sarah Davies School of Music back to 65 High Street!

There will be two FREE 'Singing for Musical Theatre' sessions on Monday 23rd October. School years 1 and 2 can take part at 10am and years 3 to 6 from 11.15am-12.15pm.

If so, please come along to the next Disabled Access Café to be held on Friday 20 October 2023, between 10.30 and 12 noon, at 65 High Street, Nailsea, BS489 1AW.

This is your chance to chat to local volunteers of North Somerset Council Disabled Access Group about the disability access issues you have in Nailsea and Backwell. After decorating Nailsea Town Centre for the Coronation, Nailsea knitters are now preparing for Christmas!

If you would like to join them in decorating the High Street and Town Centre, then come along to 65 High Street on Mondays at 2pm.
