Lots of news around the new NMC legislation for prescribing non-surgical cosmetic medicines.
What this means?

Not much will change within AB Medical Aesthetics as I’m an independent nurse prescriber and do face to face consultations before treatments.
Going forward, the consultation will need to take place and then an appointment for your treatment (this applies to anti-wrinkle appointments only) will be booked.
This gives me time to send the prescription to the pharmacy after your assessment, and have the medication ready for your treatment appointment.
This new legislation has come around after some nurses/other non-medical prescribers doing remote prescribing (which personally as a prescriber, would be a red flag!, as if I’m prescribing for someone - I want to assess them) so this is a positive change for safer aesthetic treatments.

Glabella lines occur as part of the ageing process and through repeated facial expressions.
These lines can make a person look more tired, displeased (without feeling that emotion) and/or less youthful.
Subtlety relaxing the muscle responsible for causing these lines, can give a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance, with the softening/removing of lines resulting in a more youthful appearance 🫧

Just look at how smooth this skin looks in that after photo🫧
Not only were we trying minimise the faint dynamic lines across the forehead, but also this client had a high lateral arch in her brow, so we used precise injection points into the frontalis to create a more natural looking arch, and I think we can definitely see an improvement 🫧
