What is counselling for adults?
Adult counselling offers a confidential space to slow things down and make sense of what’s going on underneath the surface.
People come to counselling for many reasons — anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, life changes, or a general sense of feeling stuck. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling. Sometimes it’s about having space to think, reflect, and be heard without judgement.
Counselling is not about being told what to do. It’s about working together to understand patterns, build awareness, and find ways forward that feel right for you.
What is counselling with play as therapy for children?
For children and young people, talking directly about feelings isn’t always the easiest or most natural way to communicate.
Counselling with play as therapy uses play, creativity, and activity to help children express themselves safely and at their own pace. Through play, children can explore emotions, experiences, and worries that may be difficult to put into words.
The approach is gentle, child-led, and developmentally appropriate, helping children feel understood while supporting emotional regulation, confidence, and communication.
Counselling will be available for adults and children, subject to suitability.
Further details about days, times, and location will be shared once arrangements are finalised.
This is not an emergency service.
