🎨 Design the Meallmore Whisky Label 2026 🥃

Last year, a resident named John painted a sunrise.

That painting became our whisky label.
Over 500 people voted for it.
And today, that bottle tells a story - of creativity, community and connection.

Sadly, John passed away in the summer of 2025, but his artwork lives on. His label, Leven Sunrise, is now part of Meallmore history and a reminder of why we run this competition every year.

This year, we’re inviting residents, colleagues and our wider community to design the 2026 Meallmore Whisky Label. With the final design being printed on a limited edition bottle served across all our Meallmore homes for this upcoming Father's Day.

We want real artwork.
Paint, pencils, photography, sketches - something created from the heart.

Because the story behind the label matters just as much as the label itself.

🌹💖 A Beautiful Act of Kindness at Manor Care 💖🌹

We were very privileged this week when Chris, the winner of the Valentine’s bouquet from The Flower Shop in Nairn, chose to gift some of the roses to our wonderful residents 🌹

Such a thoughtful and generous gesture brought so many smiles to the home. Our residents were absolutely delighted — and their faces lit up as they received the beautiful flowers 💛

Acts of kindness like this mean so much, and we are truly grateful for Chris’s compassion and for thinking of us 💕🌼

🌼 Wishing Caroline a Happy Retirement! 🌼

We gathered together at The Manor to say a very fond farewell to our wonderful Caroline

After an incredible 19 years of dedication, care and kindness, Caroline has made the well‑deserved decision to enjoy a restful and happy retirement. She has been such a valued part of our Manor family, and her warmth will be truly missed by residents and colleagues alike

We know she’ll be keeping busy and having plenty of fun — especially with all the tournaments she can now enjoy at The Nairn Bowling Club!

Caroline, from all of us here at The Manor, we wish you every happiness in this next chapter. Thank you for everything 💛✨

🎄 𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 🦌

This December, colleagues, residents, families and friends from across all 27 Meallmore care homes came together to do something truly special.

Through our Meallmore Reindeer Run, we collectively:
✔ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝟰,𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀
✔ 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 £𝟮,𝟮𝟲𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 Cash for Kids – 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀
✔ 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 to support children and families across our local communities

From walking, wheeling, cycling and adapting activities, to festive costumes, creativity and teamwork, this was a challenge that everyone could be part of — and that’s what made it so powerful.

More than a fundraiser, the Reindeer Run was about:
💚 Inclusion and connection
💚 Bringing people together
💚 Supporting families beyond our homes
💚 Showing what’s possible when communities work as one

A huge thank you to every resident, colleague, family member and supporter who took part, donated, cheered us on or helped make this happen. This is what makes Meallmore such a special community - and why we’re so proud of the people who live and work in our homes.

What a way to finish the year. 🎄✨

Meallmore’s Reindeer Run saw 27 care homes travel 4,800 miles, raising £2,260 and donating over 250 gifts for Cash for Kids.

Grigor House Annual Christmas Raffle and Party

*A special note from the Team Leader at Grigor House

We wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for yesterday. From the Grigor team, to the service users, their wonderful families and our local community for their donations.

Each year Grigor hosts its Annual Raffle, where we raise funds to go towards activities for the next year, and each year you smash it out of the park. We couldn't do what we do without the incredible generosity of you all, with donations to the raffle and purchasing of tickets. This year we have raised a total of £816 from our raffle!

A special thank you to our Grigor team, who have worked tirelessly for the past few weeks putting together the raffle, decorating the service beautifully and creating a warm and homely environment where we can create these beautiful memories together.

Our service users and team enjoyed a delicious 3 course Christmas lunch together, thanks to our talented Head Chef Maxine.

We had a surprise visit from Santa, Mrs Claus and their little helper, who didn't come emptied handed.

From our Grigor Family to yours, we hope you have a lovely festive season, and cant wait to see you all again in the New Year!

🎄🏃 Bauble Relay Fun – Nothing Stops Us! 🏃🎄

We’ve been on the move today with a bauble relay around the home, keeping the festive spirit alive and clocking up those miles to reach Santa!

Cold and wet weather? No problem! Our amazing residents and colleagues showed that nothing can stop us when it comes to spreading joy and laughter this Christmas. ❤️
