👏 A huge congratulations to Linah, Kimberley, Itayi, Dzingai & Precious who have successfully completed our Upskills Programme and are now Senior Carers — what a fantastic accomplishment! 🏅

🎓 And an extra special shoutout to Avril, who completed the incredible Good to Great Programme — a massive achievement and a true reflection of dedication and growth.

🌟 Celebrating Success at Manor Care Centre! 🌟

We’re proud to share that Manor has achieved Grade 5 ratings for both Quality of Care and Support, and Quality of Environment following a recent Care Inspectorate visit. 👏💚

This result reflects a real journey of growth — from addressing areas for improvement to building on feedback and creating a home where residents truly thrive.

✨ Inspectors praised:
🍴 Calm, choice-led mealtimes with positive feedback on food and social dining
🎨 A varied programme of activities that keeps life meaningful and connected
🏡 A warm, homely environment where bedrooms are personalised and gardens well used

With both grades rising from 4 to 5, Manor has shown what can be achieved through teamwork, dedication and a shared belief in making every day the best it can be for residents.

Our residents and colleagues have truly shone throughout the games, and today we’re raising a toast to all the laughter, achievements and unforgettable moments shared

🧺🏁 Manor Care Home – Meallmore Games: Final Challenge! 🎉

And they’re off! 🏃♀️🏃♂️ The final challenge of the Meallmore Games kicked off with our residents and colleagues racing to see who could sort the laundry the quickest – and the competitive spirit was in full swing! 👕🧦

From folding towels to pairing socks, everyone gave it their all with plenty of laughter and encouragement along the way. What a fantastic way to wrap up the games!

Day 3 of the Meallmore Games brought out our competitive spirit with a lively round of Hole in One!

Residents and colleagues joined in the fun, aiming for that perfect shot and sharing plenty of smiles along the way. The energy was fantastic and the teamwork even better

The sunshine was out and so were the smiles as Manor Care Home residents enjoyed a lively round of Bouncing Basketball for Day 2 of the Meallmore Games! 🌞

With plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and encouragement from our amazing colleagues, it was a brilliant afternoon of movement and joy 🏅👏

✈️🎉 Meallmore Games – Precision & Play at Manor! 🏅🌟

The Meallmore Games have officially taken flight at Manor Care Home, and the competition is heating up!

With the theme Come Fly With Me, our residents got creative designing their own aeroplanes — but now it’s all about precision!

Tape measures at the ready, everyone took turns flying their planes, aiming for distance and glory. Who will be crowned “Maverick of the Manor”?
