When searching for my business name I was looking for a sign ✨
It took a while until I realised it was right in front of me in a picture frame at home.
A message I’d written in the sand when I first realised I actually did love my life 🙏🏻

I wanted to celebrate this moment by naming my business and supporting others in being able to truly say to themselves ‘I love my life’ 💗

By the way I did consider the name
‘Love Life’ however the reality that I may receive calls from couples wanting advise on their love lives put me off! 🤦‍♀️😂

As a counsellor, reiki master, meditation teacher and breath awareness/mindfulness teacher I love supporting clients in connection with….

What is being triggered?
A false belief, a story formed from our wounded self, a distorted perspective of self and so on…..

You are enough, You have always been enough. Allow that in 💗

There is a light inside of you that burns so bright it’s blinding ✨✨✨

Being born into a life where distortions are made through wounded childhood experiences, damaging reflections caused through educational systems, media and so on. Your light is suppressed, dimmed but NEVER goes out. We just detach from it due to the wounding, false beliefs about self and the untrue stories we have continued to tell ourself as we grow.

The light NEVER goes out. We just disconnect from it.
Going inward is the way to reconnect 💫

Let’s talk about worry 😒
Lately life has thrown a number of things which have created the energy of worry and fear. This can feel like anxiety in the body. This can feel like the mind struggles to switch off looping in thought.

Worry steals happiness. This much is true. Sitting in worry or fear or anxiety will zap any chance of happiness or lightness. The emotional body feels heavy, dark and low.

So how do we transmute it? ✨

For me it’s breath. Sitting in the feelings. Breathing into them without attachment and instead observation of what I am going through. Gentleness, kindness, patience and compassion needed.

We are often so busy trying to escape the uncomfortable as we judge the uncomfortable we are feeling as wrong or bad. It isn’t. It’s just the emotional body doing what it does best, processing and releasing energy.

Breathwork is an incredibly powerful tool to have in your tool box.

Sunshine and shadows ☀️⛅️

Isnt that what life is made of? The ups the downs, the highs the lows and everything in-between 💫

How we move through the sunshine and shadows and even the storms that occur is what is important

✨ All is temporary
✨ All is in flow
If we are not perceiving life in this way that is a reflection of what we carry inside. When we are out of alignment for whatever reason the lens we see through becomes distorted

I am a therapist trained in counselling, breath work, meditation, mindfulness and reiki.

We are not here to continually suffer. We are designed to heal mentally physically and emotionally

Surrender ✨✨✨

This word comes into therapy sessions especially when a client is in resistance to what they are emotionally experiencing

Learning to surrender to ‘what is’ allows us to feel into and move through far easier than when in resistance by trying to change, distract from or try to control what we are feeling

Emotional surrender allows us to feel and release

When we allow the body to move through what it needs without interference we are in the bodies natural flow. Acceptance, patience with out judgment

If you imagine a path and you are walking along it… when we accept, allow and have patience with each step there is no blockage, no obstruction just the path ahead.

When walking the path with judgment the body goes into resistance, shame, avoidance and the clear path appears unsteady perhaps with rocks in its path making it a longer, more difficult and unpleasant experience to walk

Remember everything is temporary 💫
Holding space allowing ourselves to feel into and move through allowing energy to flow, move and clear as it is designed to do 💫✨
