The national campaign continues, reshaping perceptions of retirement living. 🏡 🤩

Our customers know all too well the joys of living as part of one of our village communities, and we are pleased to be teaming up with Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO) to get the word out.

Fans of Good Housekeeping, Prima, and Red magazines will have noticed a flurry of heartening real-life stories from people such as Sue, part of the 'sandwich generation', whose parents moved to an IRC when her father began to manage health concerns.

Today marks World Alzheimer's Month and this year's theme is 'Ask About Dementia. Ask About Alzheimer's' because asking leads to understanding and understanding leads to action. 🧠 🤔

It is estimated that 55 million people globally are living with dementia, and this is set to rise to 78 million by 2030 - that's almost +42% in under five years. 🤯

🏡 Our villages are open to local communities and we invite everyone to pop in for a chat with the team. You don't have to know someone living with dementia to find out more about it. Come and say hello, today.

Witness the fitness: Belong Atherton's Bill making news headlines with his fantastic achievements in the exercise studio! 🤸‍♂️

We are super proud of him and thankful to village exercise specialist, Kelly, for all her support. 💪

All of our residents receive personalised exercise plans to support their needs and keep them as independent as possible. The service is also open to apartment tenants and members of the local community.

BBC Stoke & Staffordshirecaught up with Belong Newcastle-under-Lyme village after hearing of resident Francis Baylis and his incredible rehabilitation to walk daughter Lizzie down the aisle on her big day. 👰

Francis was supported by his household support workers and the exercise and rehabilitation department to achieve his goal and we are thrilled for him and the family! 💪
