At 103, she is proving you're never too old to focus on fitness. Here she is in our village gym with Alex Davies, Exercise Specialist, for one of their regular sessions.

Belong Chester is sponsoring Chester Duck Race again this year and we're hoping to win Facebook Favourite - you can help by Liking our entry, Ali (click through and Like the original post for your vote to count). 🦆

Voting closes noon on Friday (24th April) and the race takes place 3pm, this Saturday (25th April) at The Groves.

Our entry this year is to the theme of forget me not, Alzheimer's UK, Dementia UK, and our very own B's Cafe. It was designed by our customers, and our young friends in the Ready Generations Nursery in the village.

Saturday's event is free to attend and raises funds for The Countess Charity the fundraising arm of the Countess of Chester Hospital - we are pleased to support this wonderful cause!

Yesterday we said a fond farewell to Database Dave as he heads into retirement after many years of dedication, hard work and good humour.

Dave has been an incredible colleague and friend, always ready to help, solve a problem, or brighten the day with his wit and wisdom. His knowledge (especially anything database-related!) will be greatly missed, but his impact on the team will last for years to come.

Wishing you a long, happy and well-deserved retirement, Dave. May it be filled with relaxation, new adventure and plenty of time doing the things you love.

We are pleased to have contributed to the APPG on Housing and Care for Older People inquiry, Creating Intergenerational Communities. 🏡🧸

Our Belong Chester village, with the integrated Ready Generations Nursery (operated by Ready Generations) serves as a case study in the report which explores the need for more accommodation tailored to an ageing population, and the desire for many people to live in mixed-age communities that bring generations together.
