Belong Chester and Ready Generations Nursery were delighted to recently host Takako Serizawa and Shingo Eguchi from the Diversional Therapy Association of Japan. 🇯🇵

Diversional therapy is a person-centred approach using activities to improve physical and emotional wellbeing, and is often used in the care of older people and in hospitals.

Our guests toured the village, chatting with customers and colleagues to find out more about our approach to care in partnership with nursery operators, Ready Generations. 🧸

Supporting the workforce of the future - we are pleased after many months of hard work, our collaboration with Cheshire College - South & West has come to fruition as it opens a replica Belong household for our colleagues and its students to receive hands-on dementia-friendly training.
