One from a week or two back...I've been too busy to photograph and post, sorry.

Kierans Custom Shop Strat..

Presented with a terrible setup, the action was hindered by some uneven frets. A bit of a shocker on a Custom Shop, but it can happen on any guitar. It's wood at the end of the day and as such is prone to movement due to temperature and moisture changes.

I straightened the neck and levelled the frets, profiling and polishing each one to a mirror finish.

Once that was done it was all setup to optimum. As you can see, the action ended up stupidly low at around 1mm on the bass side at the 12th fret.

This coming Saturday is my last Saturday at The Rhythm House until September 20th.

Anything I pick up this week to repair can potentially be collected from Nantwich, if I get it finished, but obviously with the FM dates I'm only working a couple of days in my workshop in-between.

I'm out on every date below bar 20th, 27th and 28th. The 3rd has also been added to the tour.

Until the end of September you can hand in your £7.99 Argos/Radio shack/Tandy offensive weapons, which burn everything in the control cavity and leave pigeons dropping solder everywhere, all completely anonymously. No one will judge the horrors you've left behind or those awaiting failure in the near future.
Society will just be glad to have these things off the street.

I have just over 2 weeks to find a replacement vehicle for my trusty Volvo XC90 which is on its last legs at 192k. It can be fixed, but it's not economical to do so (transmission issues plus suspension), so just a heads up....if I suddenly swap my day off or I post without warning that I'm closed, it's because I'm chasing a replacement.

Just 4 weeks until the UK leg of the FM tour begins and as a slight change to my original commitment, I'm now doing all of the dates except Manchester, Chester and Southend. I'll be at my workshop in-between as most gigs are around the weekend.
