Earlier this morning, we gathered once again in the modern chapel, a serene space thoughtfully set within natural surroundings. Blooming flowers, gentle greenery and a profound sense of quiet reflection created a peaceful and dignified atmosphere for remembrance. 🌿✨

Today we had the privilege of conducting the funeral service for Olwyn 🙏

It was also a pleasure to meet Sharon, founder of Making Memories with Hullabaloo Kids, who created some truly beautiful keepsakes for Olwyn’s family and friends out of her own clothing. Sharon had made these thoughtful gestures for those attending the service to take away with them, a special way to remember Olwyn and keep her close to their hearts 💞

🤍 New Year’s feels different when the year behind you includes loss 🤍

You’re not just closing out a calendar year.
You’re closing the last one that still had your loved one present.

So if the New Year feels heavier, quieter, or bittersweet, you’re not failing at it.
Grief doesn’t follow timelines. It doesn’t disappear when the clock strikes midnight. It stays, It walks with you.

Somehow, you learn to hold both:
the hope of what’s coming and the love you will never let go of.

They aren’t left behind in the old year.
They move forward with you, into the next one.
