Richmond Villages

Richmond Villages Richmond Villages, part of Bupa, develop and operate award-winning retirement villages and care homes throughout the UK.

One of the pioneers in bringing the retirement village concept to the UK, Richmond Villages have been designing, building and operating their own villages since 1996. The company currently operates five luxury retirement villages located in Cheshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Construction of new villages at Witney, Oxfordshire began summer 2014, and has recently started at Aston-on-Trent, Derbyshire. One of the leaders in the retirement living sector, Richmond Villages has established a reputation for the provision of quality service and care, and won numerous awards. The accommodation at a Richmond Village includes Village Apartments offering an independent lifestyle; Village Suites which come with an all-inclusive package to help with the daily chores; and a Care Home providing 24-hour nursing and dementia care. Richmond provide excellent facilities for their residents including a wellness spa with swimming pool and gym, hair and beauty salon, a library, IT room, restaurant and bar. Although being part of a social community, another important factor for residents when moving to a Richmond Village is the support and care services provided which includes a care team on-site 24 hours a day. In fact, a Richmond Village can have up to 150 employees including drivers, maintenance, gardeners, hospitality, housekeeping, administration and reception, and obviously the care team. Richmond Villages is part of Bupa, a leading healthcare provider offering a range of products and services, including health assessments, physiotherapy, health insurance and 280 care homes. With no shareholders, Bupa can invest its profits back into the services it offers so that it can continue to help improve health and wellbeing. Bupa’s purpose is:
Longer, Healthier, Happier, Lives

What a wonderful day we shared yesterday, hosting ARCO (Associated Retirement Community Operators) and fellow members for a sales and marketing workshop here at our Wood Norton village. 🌟

We discussed what the Renters' Rights Act means for us, how we can keep improving on the way we communicate our unique product offering with prospective residents, and perhaps most special of all, we were joined by our resident panel. They shared what drew them to our village and the positive differences it has made in their lives.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us!

30 Years, 30 Stories✨

As we celebrate 30 years of Richmond Villages, we’re sharing stories of the people who have helped shape our communities over the decades.

Our first story features Margaret, resident at Richmond Villages Nantwich care home and one of our residents who has lived with us the longest, joining the village back in 1998❤️

Knitting has always been a big part of Margaret’s life and moving to Richmond Villages meant she could continue her hobby through our knitting groups.

We've hosted a range of Wills & Trusts information events across Richmond Villages👏

Over the past weeks, our villages have been delighted to welcome expert solicitors from Michelmores Solicitors and Willans LLP solicitors to host informative sessions on wills, probate, trusts, power of attorney, and more.

Residents and visitors found the talks incredibly valuable, with plenty of fantastic questions throughout. It was wonderful to see so many people taking the opportunity to learn, plan ahead and feel more confident about these important topics.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to our guest speakers for sharing their expertise!

Happy Random Acts of Kindness Day! 🌼💛

Today, we have been out in our local communities, delivering bunches of flowers to spread a little joy!

Whether it’s brightening someone’s morning, showing appreciation to our neighbours or just sharing a smile, these small gestures are our way of celebrating the power of kindness.

Kindness is a gift everyone can give, and we’re proud to play a part in making someone’s day a little brighter. 💐✨

Our village teams are flipping, whisking and creating delicious pancakes for all our residents.

So the big question is…

Richmond Villages Northampton supports the Tubs2Pubs scheme🌍

We're so proud to share that our community in Northampton collected and delivered 250 empty tubs to Greene King Pubs as part of the Tubs2Pubs recycling initiative!

A huge thank you to our amazing residents, team members, families and friends for donating tubs and helping us support this fantastic eco-friendly initiative.

And a special thank you to the team at Yeoman Of England pub for partnering with us and helping turn our empty tubs into something positive!

Visits from animals make our residents' day!🐾

Residents at Richmond Villages Painswick and Richmond Villages Aston-on-Trent were treated to fascinating visits from ZooLab and Lion Learners , meeting a variety of amazing animals, from geckos, frogs, giant snails, guinea pigs, rabbits, and snakes.

Getting up close with these lovely creatures sparked lots of laughter and conversation between our residents!
