Last month I had the pleasure of connecting with Shanaz Loftus, midwife, antenatal and hypnobirthing educator from Birth Nerd Cheshire.

With over 20 years of experience, Shanaz passionately supports women and their partners as they prepare for the arrival of their newborn, sharing practical tools, education, research insights, and her deep embodied wisdom of this life-changing transition.

During our conversation, it became clear how wonderfully our work complements one another. While Shanaz supports families in preparing for birth, I work with postnatal support through Craniosacral Therapy, helping mums, dads and babies settle, integrate their birth experience, and find balance in those early weeks and months.

We are both based at , The Yard, Burland, Wrexham Road, CW5 8LR, and we’re excited to collaborate in supporting families throughout this transformative journey.

PPHS is here to support pelvic health during pregnancy and up to 12 months after birth. We offer an inclusive, team-based approach where you can share your experiences and access expert care.

Our specialist team provides:
• Support with prevention and treatment of pelvic health concerns
• Midwifery care for perineal wound management
• Physiotherapy support, including pelvic floor exercises and lifestyle advice
• Ongoing guidance and education for both service users and healthcare professionals
