It has been brought to our attention that there is a "disgruntled" facebook post circulating.

Firstly, Liz and I are saddened to read the contents of the post suggesting that we do not care. We would like to address this statement and re-iterate that we do care so much for all the individuals that we care for and our employees. Why would we have ever gone into this industry if we did not care? Why would we work all the hours that we do, ensuring that everyone gets their visits on a daily basis?

We are also utterly disgusted to have been branded as money grabbing useless c***s! We certainly are not money grabbing, we pay all our employees everything that we can, and have even gone to the extent of giving people money.......yes......giving.....not loaning.

As for being useless c***s, we have no words. We are not useless. You may think that we sit behind a desk Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, but this is far from the truth! We work early mornings, late nights, weekends, just like everyone else.

The person involved in writing this post only has one side of the story. You have every right to believe who you want to believe and what you want to believe, but just be mindful of the impact that your words have on people. This doesn't just relate to us, but to everyone that you come across in life.

Kindness goes a long way in life, and if you can't be kind, you don't have anything.

On the 13th May 2025, our CIW inspector visited us for our Annual Inspection. The thought of the latest inspection has been more worrying than others due to the new ratings that are now published and available. The inspection period as a whole was a very positive experience for us here at Quayside Care. The ratings that are published as well as a report are:

* Requires Significant Improvement
* Requires Improvement
* Good
* Excellent

We are very proud to announce that our ratings are as follows:

* Wellbeing - Excellent
* Care and Support - Excellent
* Leadership and Management - Good

We are so incredibly proud of our entire team for their hard work, dedication, care and compassion every single day, we could not do what we do without you. We would also like to thank everyone that took part in anyway during this inspection.

The report will be available in due course, and will be published once it's ready.

Are you compassionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities within their own homes?
Are you dedicated, passionate and hard working?
We are looking for the right person to join our team as a Community Supported Living Team to help us manage and grow our supported living service.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Assisting service users to access their communities.
* Assisting service users with managing their finances.
* Assisting service users to live a fulfilled independent life.

We are offering an excellent rate of pay.
Monday - Friday £11.00 per hour (Weekly pay)
45p per mile travelled

The successful applicant will be enrolled into the NEST pension scheme.
Although not essential, it is desirable that applicants have a minimum of a level 2 qualification and a minimum of 1 years experience of working with adults with learning disabilities.
