Our Story
HH Sports Therapy clinic was established in 2010 and is situated at Bronleigh House (2018)in Neath which forms part of a multidisciplinary Health & Well-being clinic. Hannah qualified with a BSc (hons) degree in Sports Science 2008 and also completed a Sports Therapy diploma (L5)& Sports Massage Dip (L5) in 2009. In 2010 Hannah set up her own business and since then holds qualifications in Medical Acupuncture, spinal mobilisation & manipulation, ultrasound Therapy, soft cupping therapy ,pitch side trauma management & suturing, kinesiology;strapping and taping, fitness instructing and holds diplomas in a range of holistic therapies which include indian head massage, thai foot massage, hot stone therapy, warm bamboo massage & is a baby massage instructor. Hannah has also undertaken specialist training in providing complimentary therapies to cancer care patients and manual Lymphatic drainage therapy to those suffering with lymphedema. Hannah is a member of the Sports Therapy Organisation (STO) and is fully insured. Treatments include sports injuries, sports massage, pitchside trauma for events, and rehabilitation and advice for injuries.
Some common injuries include back pain, sciatica,plantar fascitis, neck pain, ankle sprains & strains, muscle soreness, muscle & posture imbalances.
Hannah has worked with both elite and amateur athletes which include international and British lions rugby players, Ospreys senior and academy squad, Scotland Rugby team (6 nations & World cup 2015), Swansea rfc, Swansea university 1st Team, Swansea university Womens Rugby, Welsh Womens rugby squad, Swansea Rfc, Tonna RFC, Ponrhydyfen Rfc, U19s wales Rugby League & is still involved with the U16s Ospreys Rugby Academy (19-20 season).
