Hello!
🌱 I am a Humanistic Counsellor with a 1st class honours degree in Counselling Skills and Interdisciplinary Studies. To further my knowledge in counselling, I completed a post graduate level 7 diploma in Psychotherapy based on an emotion focused methodology.
My personal beliefs are: Treating everybody with compassion, being non-judgemental, encouraging equality, empowerment to all individuals, providing highest levels of empathy, giving positive regard, being non-discriminatory and being genuine, honest and respectful at all times.
I began my counselling journey in 2011 and over the past 12 years, have gained invaluable insight into the human experience. I have previously worked for Victim Support as an Advocate for victims of Crime (Including Sexual Abuse) and spent 3 years working in Bereavement Care. I have also worked as a employee well-being mentor and currently work as a drug and alcohol worker.
