Every Tuesday 6-7pm Waunceirch Neath

Classes are based on a traditional yoga practice using flowing movements with moments of stillness, focussed pranayama, kriyas & meditation. Yoga helps increase your strength and flexibility, reduces physical and mental tension, relieves stress and has a positive impact on every system of your body. Classes include gentle warm ups, asanas (held postures), conscious breathing and kriyas that are the linking of breath with movement. Adaptations and variations of postures are offered for each individual body and flexibility. We end the session with a lovely Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep / relaxation) to allow the body to absorb the physical practice, restore and relax after the class. Please get in touch if you would like to know more. Classes are held at the Owain Glyndwr Community centre, Waunceirch, Neath every Tuesday 6:30-7:30

This Tuesday we’re working with apana vayu, cultivating the grounding moon energy to release and replenish.
On Wednesday there’s a full moon associated with high, upward-moving prana vayu, apana vayu is the downward, outward-moving energy responsible for elimination and release.
Our session will focus on grounding during this intense period by balancing the stimulating energy with apana's stabilizing qualities.

All welcome, just bring a yoga mat, a blanket and your sparkling self ✨🙏✨

This week we will explore prana vayu, one of the 5 directions of Prana that governs breathing. the chest, ribs & shoulder area of our physical body.

Prana is energy, vitality, and power, the foundation of all life that we draw into ourselves through the sun, the air that we breathe, food we eat, environment we live in and company we keep.

Through pranayama, asanas, kriya and meditation we’ll calm the mind, build strength in the body and nurture our sparkle ✨
