Neath Port Talbot Mind We are NPT Mind. we provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.

We were formed in 1984, meaning that we have been offering support and services to those in need in the community of Neath and Port Talbot for over 30 years. NPT Mind offers a range of support for mental health from Counselli

ng, Active Monitoring and one to one sessions to a full programme of online support groups, creative workshops and self help classes. We welcome carers, family members and friends of people experiencing emotional distress or mental health problems.

On Friday 29th August our Hoarding: Hope and Help Project will be starting 2 new weekly Support Groups.

If you are struggling with Hoarding Behaviours and could benefit from meeting others who understand the challenges you are facing in a safe and non-judgemental environment, we will meet at 10am - 11.30am.

If you have a loved one who is demonstrating Hoarding Behaviours and you feel that you are struggling to know how best to support your loved one and could benefit from meeting others with shared lived experience, we will meet at 1pm - 2.30pm.

NPT Mind is thrilled to announce the launch of a Brand New Project!

The Hoarding: Hope and Help Project provides a range of support to individuals struggling with hoarding behaviours, including talking therapies support groups and advocacy.

Neath Port Talbot Wellbeing After Stroke Project - NPT WASP has 2 new Courses starting in September, if you would like to join please get in touch!

On Monday 01/09/25 is the BRAND NEW group course for those who are Carers for Survivors of Stroke or Brain Injury. Here we will share lived experiences and support others living with similar experiences and challenges.

On Tuesday 02/09/25 is the Life After Stroke, The Journey Forward Course. This course is specifically for survivors of stroke or brain injury, and here we explore topics such as managing difficult emotions, anger, fatigue, grief, relaxation and acceptance.
