There is a nationwide shortage of co-codamol 30/500 and this is now unavailable in Neilston.
Prolonged use (beyond 3 months) is generally unhelpful with risks of tolerance and addiction.
We will therefore be unable to prescribe this going forward.
We have no word on when stocks will return.
We understand this will be frustrating and upsetting for many but this is outwith our control.

Big news for your health! 🎉Our prescribing pharmacist, Lauren, can now do even more to help you.

Even better, with the NHS Pharmacy First Plus Plus service, these expanded services are completely free. This initiative significantly improves access to healthcare services and helps mitigate the difficulties often faced when trying to make a GP appointment.

Thanks to independent prescribing powers, qualified pharmacists can now provide a wider range of treatments and advice. This means they can now prescribe for common conditions such as:

Chest infections

Tonsillitis

Ear infections

Sinusitis

Impetigo

Infected insect bites

Shingles

Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

And many other common ailments.

This makes healthcare more accessible and convenient for everyone. Ask us how an independent prescribing pharmacist can help you. The clinic will run every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and alternative Saturday.

You can drop in at your convenience or make an appointment via our website (Follow the link in the comments).
