Gout is a form of arthritis where you get a buildup of uric acid crystals within the joint. Most commonly occurs in the big toe but it can also affect the other joints causing pain and swelling due to local inflammation.

We offer treatments that can help lower uric acid levels in the blood reducing long term flare ups of gout attacks. We also have IM and IV anti inflammatory medicine for the relief of acute pain.

Having optimum levels of Red Blood Cells, Iron, Folic Acid and Vitamin D are advised by Obstetricians and Midwives.

Folic acid is essential in early stages to reduce the risk of Neural Tube defects.

Vitamin D plays a vital role in foetal development especially for healthy bone and teeth growth.

Iron is crucial and the growing baby relies on the mother’s iron stores to develop and thrive.

Low iron levels can cause complications such as low birth weight and prematurity.

NB - This drip does not increase the probability of falling pregnant and thus is only given to ensure a healthy pregnancy.
