You must be over 18, have a high BMI, and multiple conditions like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease. It is not for general weight loss.

We will provide updates when available - please don’t contact the surgery in the meantime.

Cervical screening uses HPV primary screening. The cervical cells are first of all tested for the HPV virus. If high risk HPV is found, the laboratory will test the sample for cell changes.

‼️From the 18th November we will be changing our system on how you contact the surgery and make appointments. All patient requests will be done through a link on our website www.reedyfordgp.com ‼️
💢The new system will allow you to out all clinical and non clinical requests through an online consultation. This will save time waiting on the phone and you will no longer need to call us at 8am or 1pm. The detailed information you provide will enable us to direct you to the appropriate clinician for your health💢
⭕️You will be able to put your online request to us from 7.30am until 1pm Monday to Friday though this could vary due to capacity on the day. We will aim to deal with your request within two working days and urgent needs will be prioritised⭕️

Dear Patients
All GP Practices in East Lancashire are closed on Tuesday 3rd September 2024 from 1pm-6.30pm for Protected Staff Learning Time.

If you have an urgent request on the day that cannot wait until the following day provisions have been made for urgent triage via the 111 service.

We reopen again at 8am on Wednesday 4th September for all routine requests for results, appointments, prescriptions, and general queries.
