It was a real pleasure to meet such a positive, engaged group. You all brought great energy to the session and should be proud of the skills you’ve developed.

First aid is such an important ability, not just in the workplace, but in everyday life. You’re now better prepared to keep yourselves, your colleagues, and your customers safe if the unexpected happens.

🚨 Heart Attack Signs in Women 🚨

Heart attack symptoms in women can be different from the “classic” chest pain and easier to miss. Knowing these signs could save a life.

💚Common signs to watch for:
• Chest discomfort (pressure, tightness, or pain)
• Pain in the back, neck, jaw, or shoulders
• Shortness of breath
• Nausea or vomiting
• Feeling unusually tired (even days before)
• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Cold sweats

⚠️ Important:
Symptoms may be milder or unusual, and not always sudden.

⛑️What to do:
If you think someone is having a heart attack, call emergency services immediately (999 in the UK). Don’t wait.🚑

💬 Remember:
Women are more likely to have subtle symptoms, trust your instincts and act fast.

We also incorporated some paediatric elements into the training, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how everyone engaged, supported one another, and rose to every challenge.

You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves, your commitment, teamwork, and positive attitude made the day a real pleasure to deliver. It’s clear you’ve gained skills that could truly make a difference when it matters most.

You were all amazing. Learning important life-saving skills while having lots of fun along the way. From learning how to call for an ambulance to practicing practical skills, you showed fantastic team work and enthusiasm throughout.
