We are always so proud of our staff and we always try to recognise the great work they all do as often as possible. Sometimes though, it is lovely when we recieve feedback from our families. We had a very emotional week last week and our amazing colleagues went above and beyond to provide the highest quality of care and dignity to a person and their family at one of the hardest and saddest times in their life. Oak House has an exciting career opportunity.

Oak House is looking to recruit a night care assistant.

We have one vacancy for between 20-40 hours per week. These are 10 hour shifts on a ROTA basis.
Shifts run between 21:15 and 07:30. Although this is predominately night work, we may occasionally ask you to help during day shifts. These shifts run from 07:15 - 14:30 & 14:15 - 21:30.

Oak House is looking for kind and motivated individuals who aspire to provide the highest levels of care.

If you are looking for a new experience, a challenge and the opportunity to learn new skills, this could be the position for you. We do ask that potential applicants are 'comfortable' with using a computer. We can provide additional training should this be required.

Duties will include supporting adults with learning disabilities throughout the night, light house work and the completion of paperwork. The role may undertake other duties as advised by your manager. Your role and tasks will be advised to you by the Registered Manager or senior support team.

Although this position is predominantly night-time work, due to the nature of the business, we do ask that all applicants are flexible regarding working shifts including; days, evenings, weekends, nights bank holidays, public holidays and unsociable hours. We may also need additional cover at short notice, however, we try to avoid this as much as possible.

You shall be required to have a enhanced DBS. DBS disclosure cost shall be met by successful applicant.

Deeply saddened to watch BBC Panorama tonight. We hope that the people and families affected can move forward and lead happy lives. Those who are responsible should be ashamed of their behaviour and conduct, and we hope that the justice system treats them appropriately for the terrible acts of cruelty they have inflicted upon vulnerable human beings, saddened and sickened does not begin to describe how we as a true genuine caring company feel this evening.

The Oak House family has got together tonight to celebrate two occasions, the life of a lovely gentleman who sadly passed away last week. He was a lovely gentleman who has left a massive space in the heart of our family. Thank you to all the staff who over the last few weeks have visited Oak House in their own time to sit with us and the lovely gentleman so he had company. Thank you to staff who have worked extra hours and covered at short notice to help us provide the highest level of care. Thank you to everybody who has been involved, thank you to Poppi for spending the day preparing the food and thank you to everybody who has visited to share amazing stories. Secondly, we are saying goodbye to a member of our staff Sian, who is leaving after maternity leave to spend time with her family. Thank you Sian for your hard work and loyalty whilst working at Oak House and we wish you and your family all the best for the future. xx Love, Adam, Dominic, Nikki & All the staff xx

Thank you to the fast response time of one of our dedicated staff team keeley fowkes overseen by Nikki Worton our Deputy Manager I am one incredibly happy Manager and Service owner today
Whilst enjoying a meal at a Weatherspoons restaurant in Stratford upon avon one of our service user's choked on a piece of steak, both staff aware quickly responded, keeley managed to get there first and quickly escorted him outside and performed the Back slap technique successfully releasing the lodged steak from his windpipe thank you to Peter Gathercole from endevour care training for his tuition that led keeley to appropriately trained,
Well done keeley and nikki.
Both myself and Dominic Brinton-Williams are very proud!!!

We hope everyone had a lovely christmas day we all did at oak house!!!!
We would like you thank all for sharing our posts and liking our posts it helps our business to grow.
Mostly we would like to thank our service users for being amazing,and our staff for being everything they promised to be true carers are hard to come by but i can honestly say we have them in abundance.
