🌺 Remembrance Sunday at Netley Court 🌺
Today, we paused to honour and remember the bravery and sacrifice of all those who have served our country.

We welcomed the local parade as it passed by the home, and many of our residents lined the windows and garden area to salute and reflect. A particularly moving moment came when the parade turned to honour our very own resident veteran, Henry, who served during the D‑Day Landings. The marching contingent gave him a salute as they passed—a beautiful, heartfelt tribute to someone whose service is part of the living history among us.

Henry’s presence among us reminds us of the real people behind the poppies, the uniform, and the stories. We are deeply proud of him and grateful for the opportunity to share this solemn, respectful moment together.

To our residents, our team, and everyone in the wider community who took time to reflect today: thank you. We will continue to hold in our hearts the courage, sacrifice and legacy of all who served. Lest we forget.

🎃 Halloween at Netley! 🎃

This year, we opened our doors to the community and hosted a spooktacular Halloween party filled with laughter, games, and plenty of treats! 👻

From classic old-school party games to shared stories and smiles, fun was had, memories were made, and wonderful intergenerational friendships began to bloom. 💜

A huge well done to our amazing Netley Activities Team for all your hard work in making the day so special — your creativity and dedication truly shone through. 🌟

And a special shout-out to Chef Sean, who stepped in at the last minute to create a buffet to be proud of — it was absolutely delicious! 👏🍴

What a fantastic day at Netley — full of fun, friendship, and community spirit! 🧡🕸️

🎃 Halloween Bingo at Netley Court 👻

Today, Netley Court was delighted to welcome members of our local community for a festive game of Halloween Bingo. Residents and guests alike enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, prizes, and great company.

We were also joined by Guy and the much-loved therapy dogs, Peggy and Teddy, whose visit brought plenty of smiles and joy to everyone. 🐾

A heartfelt thank you to all who came along and helped make the event so special.

🎃 Half Term Fun at Netley Court! 👻

We’re having such a fantastic time during our half-term community events! Earlier in the week, our pumpkin carving session was brilliantly attended — so many creative designs and happy faces! 🎨🕯️

Today’s Halloween-themed treasure hunt was another huge success, with lots of excited children, amazing costumes, and big smiles all round. 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️🕷️

A big thank you to everyone who’s joined us so far — it’s been wonderful to see our community come together for some spooky fun! 🧡

We’ve still got more events planned for the rest of the week, with limited spaces remaining, so if you haven’t joined in yet, there’s still time!
