๐ŸŒŸ Weekly Round-Up at Home Instead Central Hampshire ๐ŸŒŸ

Itโ€™s been a chilly start to the year, but a week full of teamwork, kindness, and community connections! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“ธ 1. A Snowy Start
We woke up to snow outside the office this week. While the weather has been cold, our team has been working hard to make sure both our carers and clients stay safe, warm, and supported during these wintery conditions.

๐Ÿ“ธ 2. Enjoying the Moment
Danielle, our Recruiter, made the most of the snow with a quick snap outside the office - sometimes itโ€™s nice to pause and enjoy the view! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ“ธ 3. Office Treats & Weekend TV
A few festive treats were enjoyed in the office this week - candy caneโ€“flavoured mini Kit Kats while catching up with 'Love Your Weekend'. The perfect little pick-me-up! ๐Ÿซโ˜•

๐Ÿ“ธ 4. Kind Words That Made Our Day
We received a lovely Christmas card from Georgia, one of our wonderful carers. Although itโ€™s after Christmas, her kind words have been putting smiles on our faces and weโ€™re so grateful to have her as part of our team. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“ธ 5. Out in the Community - Alresford Market
We were at Alresford Market on Thursday, and weโ€™ll now be there every Thursday. Weโ€™re always happy to chat, share information about our services, local events and groups, and answer any questions about care - whether youโ€™re a potential client or thinking about becoming a carer. Please do stop by and say hello! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Another week of looking out for one another and staying connected with our community. ๐Ÿ’™

As we wrap up another year, weโ€™re taking a moment to reflect on what has truly made 2025 so special ๐Ÿ’›
This year, our incredible team has delivered thousands of hours of care, helping people across Central Hampshire live well at home with dignity, independence and companionship. Alongside this, weโ€™ve continued to connect with our community through initiatives that matter.
From Singing for the Brain (now across five locations), to our Dementia Friendly Cinema screenings at Wi******er, supporting Dementia Action Week with help from the wonderful and the Mayor , and the amazing charity fundraising efforts led by our carers for the and the weโ€™re so proud of the difference made together.
One of the highlights of the year was once again our Be a Santa to a Senior campaign (should out to Wi******er) where carers, community members and local partners came together to spread kindness and festive cheer to older people who might otherwise go without.
None of this would be possible without our compassionate carers, supportive families, community partners and everyone who champions what we do so thank you for being part of our journey.
As we say goodbye to 2025, we wish everyone a very Happy New Year ๐ŸŽ‰
We look forward to 2026, continuing to support people in our community, building meaningful connections, and sharing some very exciting plans along the way.
Hereโ€™s to another year of care, kindness and community ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŒŸ Weekly Round-Up at Home Instead Central Hampshire ๐ŸŒŸ

This week was full of music, smiles, and festive cheer - a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit! ๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“ธ 1โ€“3. Singing for the Brain ๐ŸŽถ
Our Singing for the Brain groups were in full swing across Alston House, Wi******er, and Alresford. It was lovely to see everyone joining in, especially with so many festive jumpers and Christmas outfits on show! Music truly brings people together.

๐Ÿ“ธ 4. Celebrating Our Volunteers
A big thank you to Suzie, Janice, Elaine, and all our amazing volunteers who help make these groups so special. We couldnโ€™t do this without you - your time, energy, and kindness mean so much to everyone involved. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“ธ 5. Extra Festive Thanks to Suzie
A special shout-out to Suzie, who runs our Singing for the Brain groups. From bringing out her guitar, learning new songs, and getting everyone singing, she always creates such a joyful atmosphere - and she was looking especially festive in her Christmas outfit! ๐ŸŽธ๐ŸŽ„

๐Ÿ“ธ 6. Festive Smiles
The lovely Mr M was very much in the Christmas spirit, rocking a festive hat and a big smile!

๐Ÿ“ธ 7โ€“8. Out and About at the Christmas Market
Mr M and his live-in carer enjoyed a festive outing to the Wi******er Christmas Market and Cathedral. It was wonderful to see him out and about, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying a seasonal day out.

A week filled with music, community, and Christmas cheer - just how we like it. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’› To our carers at Home Instead Central Hampshire and to every carer out there ๐Ÿ’›
We want to recognise the incredible hard work, dedication, and compassion shown by all of our carers this year. Your commitment never goes unnoticed.
We also see the busy parents, the family members, and everyone juggling work, care, and life - especially at a time of year that brings extra pressure and stress.

We see you.
We understand how hard you work.
And we know that this time of year can bring added pressure, stress, and emotion.

So if the person you care for canโ€™t say thank you themselves then please know that we are saying it on their behalf.

Thank you for your patience.
Your resilience.
Your kindness.
You matter more than you know ๐Ÿ’›
