**Important information regarding our bank holiday closure Monday 25th May 2026**

We will reopen normal hours on Tuesday 26th May.

On Monday 25 May 2026, GP practices will be closed for the bank holiday.

Some community pharmacies will remain open and can provide advice on choosing and using medicines, as well as support for treating common, everyday ailments. NHS 24 also has pharmacists available to answer medicine‑ and pharmacy‑related questions by calling 111.

Important Update for Valley Medical Practice Patients

On Wednesday 8th April 2026, we will be providing a reduced service while we carry out an essential upgrade to our digital patient system. This work is vital to improving the quality, reliability, and efficiency of the care we provide.

What this means for you on the day:
Limited access to patients computerised records
No advance bookings or checking of appointments
We will be unable to check test results
We cannot process or print general prescription enquiries

Our team will still be here to support you with urgent and essential care. If you require medical attention, please contact your branch as you normally would.

*Important information regarding this coming Easter Weekend Closure*

We will be closed Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April and will reopen normal hours on Tuesday 7th April.

This Easter bank holiday, GP practices will be closed on Friday 3 April & Monday 6 April 2026. Some community pharmacies will remain open during this period and can answer questions on choosing and using the right medicine and provide advice on treating everyday ailments. NHS 24 also has a number of pharmacists who are able to answer medicine and pharmacy-related questions over the telephone on 111.
