We love to share our patient information leaflets and honestly love to see lively, happy children. Recently our waiting area and toilets have reallly been left in a bit of a state to say the least. (We won’t share the photos of the toilets)

Please treat the area with respect and leave your surgery the way you would like to find it. If you need assistance or if accidents happen (which we understand can, especially when you’re not feeling well) please speak to a staff member so we can discreetly help you and clean things up.

Information about September weekend closure

All GP Practices, most dentists and community pharmacies have public holiday closures on Friday 19 September and Monday 22 September. Some community pharmacies will remain open during this period and can answer questions on choosing and using the right medicine and provide advice on treating everyday ailments. NHS 24 also has a number of pharmacists who are able to answer medicine and pharmacy-related questions over the telephone on 111.

🚨 Nationwide Emergency Alert Test — Sunday 7th September, 3pm

The UK’s new emergency alert system will send a loud siren, message, and vibration to every compatible phone even on silent. Survivors of abuse with hidden phones could be put at risk if the device is discovered.

You can opt out in your phone’s settings to protect your safety:
✅ iPhone: Search “Emergency Alerts” in settings → Turn off Severe & Emergency alerts

✅ Android: Search “Emergency Alerts” in settings → Turn off Severe & Emergency alerts (and other threat categories if listed)

CVD Risk Prevention

We are currently inviting some patients between the ages of 35 and 60 to offer them cardiovascular screening at the practice. This will allow us to assess patients for their risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes and for them to receive tests, results and advice during the season.
