Rise and shine with a bowl that packs a punch! 🌞
Celebrate World Porridge Day with our golden turmeric porridge that will fuel your day. Featuring cozy oats, spiced apple cubes, a drizzle of nut butter and crunchy trail mix topper. 🥄🍎
Ingredients 📋
100g oats
2 medium apples, cored and cubed
Water for cooking
2 tbsp H&B Nut Butter with Benefits
1 tbsp turmeric paste
3 tbsp H&B Manuka Honey
Cinnamon
How To Make 👩🍳
Step 1- In a small pan, sauté the cubed apples
Step 2- Once softened, sprinkle with the cinnamon and leave aside
Step 3- In a medium pot cook the oats according to your liking (thicker or runnier consistency)
Step 4- Add 2 tbsp of H&B turmeric paste and stir until fully mixed through
Step 5- Divide the cooked oats between two bowls and top each with a tablespoon of nut butter and gently stir
Step 6- When the porridge is cooled, add the honey (if it’s too warm, the honey will heat too much and lose its antibacterial properties!)
Step 7- Finally, add the sautéed apple cubes on top and enjoy
Tip: Try any optional toppings like berries, pear slices, chopped Brazil nuts or pecans
