Almost 2 years ago I set myself a challenge to gain a sick pack. I had 2 months to complete this goal. There is many steps that need to be in place to be able to achieve your goals and I’m here to explain.
1. Reasoning!
I lost my carer as a dancer a couple years ago due to a back injury. Everyone in my university was graduating and that was my dream to be able to throw my hat 🎩 I didn’t want that date to be reminded of what I couldn’t do so I changed that date to a day I would be able to feel proud and prove anyone can do anything with a good mindset.
2. Mini Goals!
Having one big goal is amazing but within the journey you can get lost and feel like you’re not achieving when you actually are. Setting small goals I.e feeling better, having a routine, cloths feeling better. These will help on the tough road because you end up focusing on the small and then you turn around and the big goal you can see.
3. Progress Photos!
This ties in with step 2. It helps the process and you can compare your photos. Sometimes looking at yourself too much through a mirror can become disheartening and challenging. Being able to align photos I promise you will be able to see small changes.
4. Mindset & Consistency!
Along this journey your mindset can dip and almost pull you off track. Consistency doesn’t always consist of 100% some days will feel like 20% but the key is it’s never 0% even having days off is not 0% it’s the process and having a mindset that tomorrow is a new day and getting back on track or giving that extra 20% is how you will mentally become stronger and the end goal is more rewarding.
