It’s easy to tell yourself you’re overreacting.
That you should just get on with it.
That it’s not a big deal.
But what you’re feeling still matters.
Even if you can’t fully explain it.
Even if it doesn’t make sense right now.
Even if you think you “shouldn’t” feel this way.
Pushing feelings away doesn’t make them disappear
it often just makes them louder.
