Our residents enjoyed getting ready for Burns Night last week 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

With the weather keeping us indoors, residents spent one afternoon making table decorations using upcycled tin cans. Finished with tartan designs and sporrans, the decorations were used as cutlery holders on Burns Night.

We were proud to recently present cheques to our two 2025 Charities of the Year, Elsie's Rose and Hampshire Search and Rescue, following a year of fundraising at Kingfishers.

Thanks to the enthusiasm of our residents, the support of families and friends, and the dedication of our team, we raised an incredible amount... and had a lot of fun along the way!

Resident Mollie, seen here, was one of our most keen organisers, so it was only right she had the honour of presenting the cheque to charity representatives Annie and Trevor.

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising activities and helped make this possible.

A lovely afternoon of history for our residents ☕️🏛️

Our visit to the St Barbe Museum + Art Gallery sparked plenty of conversation as residents explored the historical walkway and its fascinating memorabilia. We finished the afternoon with tea and coffee, reflecting on what we’d learned along the way. As resident Neil said, “Thank you for a lovely afternoon!”
