A massive thank you to Dean Deakins and all of you who assisted in this remarkable service for our friend and comrade Peter Still.

A huge turn out as expected to pay our respects to Peter.

As I said yesterday Peter was in Command right to the end. He handed me a few cut outs from other funerals he had attended and said ‘that’s what I want’.

He would have been overwhelmed and very proud.

A fine military presence including 2 Admirals James Rapp and His Majesty King Charles representative Roy Clare who all served together on HMS Bronnington were all in attendance.

There were many Masonic Brothers and friends paying their respects too.

Chris and the family, well done on a difficult day for you all.

Peter is now reunited with his beloved wife Sandra.

I felt Peter’s presence just beside me yesterday and I know we all did him proud.

Thank you all for making it a perfect day.

A service to celebrate the life of Irene Ella Venables took place yesterday at Wessex Vale Crematorium. This lovely service was conducted by Eileen Harvey. Donations were given to Wi******er Hospice.

On Friday 20th March, a service to celebrate the life of Paul Reynolds took place earlier at Basingstoke Crematorium. This wonderful service was conducted by Victoria Wesley. Donations were given to The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).

On Friday 9th January, a service to celebrate the life of Christopher Peter Carey, known as Chris, took place at Wessex Vale Crematorium. This lovely service was conducted by Mike Warren. Donations in memory of Chris were given to the British Heart Foundation.

A service to celebrate the life of Timothy James Browning, known as Tim, took place yesterday at Wessex Vale Crematorium. This wonderful service was conducted by Gareth Benton. Donations in memory of Tim were given to Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.

On Friday 31st October a service in memory of Barry Thomas Whitfield took place at Basingstoke Crematorium. This lovely service was conducted by Richard Sheath, and was followed by a celebration of Barry’s life at The Wi******er Club. Donations were allocated to Barry’s memorial collection for his bench and tree which will be near his home, or forwarded to Dementia UK.
