Romney Marsh Osteopaths was established in 1997 by Kate Miles. The Practice specialises in Structural and Cranial Osteopathic treatment for adults, babies & children. Kate Miles qualified as an Osteopath after studying at the E.S.O. She has highly developed her skill and interest in Cranial Osteopathy and the physical impact of stress and emotional trauma, which tends to be resistant to regular hands-on treatment. Her mind-body approach offers a gentle yet effective route to recovery via; Cranial Osteopathy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Energy Healing, M.S.T.R. Scar Tissue Release Technique, Talking Therapies & Sanomentology; a combination of hypnotherapy, guided visualisations and lucid dreaming. Lionel Fantom qualified as an Osteopath after studying at the E.S.O. He has worked in various clinics across the county over the years and has been a great asset to our practice since 2016. His structural, soft tissue and manipulatory style is best suited to those who prefer a more physical Osteopathic treatment. Louise Ellison qualified as an Osteopath after studying at the E.S.O. She has worked throughout the UK & Australia so we are pleased to be able to offer you her expertise. Her combined structural/cranial approach is suitable for any age group, especially those who would benefit from a practitioner with a special interest in Maternity/Paediatric Osteopathy. Sam Richardson, BSc, qualified as a Sports Therapist after studying at Canterbury Christchurch. Samuel qualified as a Sports Therapist after studying at Canterbury Christchurch University. He has worked extensively at CCCU’s Sports Rehabilitation Centre as well as working with the Army Rugby League, supporting their Men’s & Women’s teams, plus offered post-race recovery to the London Marathon.
He is focused on aiding recovery from injuries & repetitive strains, plus promoting mobility in adults & teenagers, whether sports orientated, active yet non-exercised based or those who are generally sedentary.
Sam’s Sports Massage, Muscle stretching, Kinesio Taping & Exercise Rehabilitation modality is best suited to reasonably healthy individuals who prefer a deep tissue approach & are committed to undertaking prescribed exercises.

Lionel qualified as an Osteopath after studying at the European School of Osteopathy. During his career he has worked in various clinics across the county and has been a great asset to our practice since 2016.

He is focused on the mechanical effects of the physical stresses and strains of everyday life as well as the impact of manual work, repetitive activity and recurrent sporting endeavours on the spine and joints.

Lionel's Structural, Soft Tissue and Manipulatory style is best suited to adults and older male teens who prefer a conventional physical approach to Osteopathic treatment, whether as a short-term recovery plan or on a regular maintenance programme basis.

Our Story

Kate Miles qualified as an Osteopath from the E.S.O. in 1996. She has highly developed her skill and interest in Cranial Osteopathy and offers a gentle yet effective route to rehabilitation from a wide range of ailments for Adults, Babies and Children alike. Since 2016 she has been undertaking an extensive program of further study and now blends both mind and body techniques together during her work as a Stress Consultant.

Lionel Fantom BSc. (Ost) Hons, qualified from the E.S.O. in 1997. He has worked in various clinics across the county over the years and has been a great asset to our practice since 2016. His structural soft tissue manipulatory style is best suited to those who prefer a more physical Osteopathic treatment. Lionel also offers Home Visit appointments at a set price within walking distance of the practice and within the Greatstone area.

Louise Ellison D.O., qualified from the E.S.O. in 1995. She has worked throughout the UK and Australia and we are pleased to be able to offer you her expertise. Her combined structural and cranial approach is suitable for any age group and especially for those who prefer a mix of gentle and physical techniques. Louise is also a Children’s Clinic Tutor at the E.S.O. and is our Maternity/Paediatrics specialist.

Suchit Jain is a Chartered Physiotherapist who qualified in India. As well as physiotherapy and rehab exercise advise, as an extended scope practitioner, he also offers; Acupuncture, Sports Massage, Medical Prescribing and Joint Injections.
