Often my lady clients tell me there past the menopause where they have not had a period bleed for over a year and I hear this many time’s “I’m past that now” this fills me with concern 😳 when I ask so what support is in place for these declining hormones. Very rarely anything they tell me.

Make sure you are getting lots of good fats in your diet Advocado, Good quality Extra virgin oil, nuts and seeds stay away from peanuts they have mold. Dark green leafy vegetables and berries strawberries are lots of fibre Cut down on your consumption of sugar and wheat cereals they can disrupt the endocrine system.

Plenty of water to hydrate and cool down hot sweats and if you do suffer with hot flushes probably best to stay away from caffeine.

Your Pancreas and insulin levels with stay lower helping you to balance your blood sugar spikes helping with the hunger and cravings responsible is the hormone grehlin.

The foot was built for mobility stability and strength there is a strong connection with the brain and your senses almost like an antenna.

I love a good massage on the feet and reflexology they feel lighter and pain free.

By Massaging the feet through and applying Reflexology it is rubbing away the pain and tenderness bringing blood flow to that area stimulating the nerves and helping your foot, ankles and joints of the bones and muscles be more mobile so you can carry on your day, on those precious feet,

In Menopause we lose our bone density with so many changes to Oestrogen and Progesterone and other factors medication and diet that it can result in Osteopenia and Osteoporosis over time.

I’m sure we want to keep our mobility for a long time from Peri-menopause, Menopause to Post Menopause too.

This a true fact that many women in Menopause will consider su***de due to the severe symptoms and how it makes them feel which can lead to them being a shadow of their former selves, through doubt, low mood, anxiety, depression, not feeling capable of doing the simplest tasks, not feeling good enough as this can have a devastating effect on their well-being, it can be a very scary and lonely unsure time for a women.

Research shows that Reflexology in Menopause can help with that whole build up of stress in the body the organs and the mind unwinding the flow of the natural energy to help you feel calm and balanced.
