Yesterday, I had a conversation with one of my trainees. She asked me, โWhat if I don't know enough? What if I can't do this work because I must first become the product, the role model, the example to follow?โ
No one wakes up one day and has all the answers. And the difference between someone who is smashing it and someone who is stuck in one place is the steps they take. Who will kick you in your ๐ if not you?
What can you do if you don't know all the answers? We keep going, and you are honest about not having all the answers. You are humble and passionate. You can be authentic.
We all learn as we go; some of us hide it better ;)
๐๐ป So, how do you recognise if you can't do your job or have imposter syndrome? If quitting feels like a loss. If when you think you will be worse off not doing than doing. You take your fear and make a step, one step at a time, and as you are afraid, you keep going. Regardless. Slowly but consistently.
And if you need to pick me up, brainstorming or just proper personal development, โtalkโ. I'm here ๐๐ป
