💬 Therapy isn’t accessible for everyone right now. NHS waiting lists are overwhelming, and private therapy often feels out of reach. So where does that leave parents who are desperate for support?
I hear from so many mums who find themselves awake at 2am, scrolling and Googling, trying to work out how to help their child who’s struggling with anxiety or low mood. The guilt, the self-doubt, the fear of “getting it wrong” , it can feel so heavy.
Here’s something I want to open a conversation about…
👉 Could AI be used as a gentle sounding board for parents in moments like this?
Of course, AI is not a therapist. But I’ve seen parents use it to:
✨ Journal their emotions and get clarity
✨ Practise difficult conversations with their teen
✨ Explore coping tools and fresh perspectives when they feel stuck
The real difference lies in the questions you ask. That’s why I’m currently building a library of AI prompts designed especially for parents - so it becomes supportive rather than overwhelming.
But here’s where I’d love your thoughts 👇
➡️ Would you ever use AI as a sounding board for parenting or your own mental health?
➡️ Or does that idea feel strange to you?
Your comments will really help me shape this conversation, and maybe even the resource I’m creating. 💚
