What choice of hearing aid?

I am sure that everybody needs some sort of simple guidance when choosing a private hearing aid and here is a simple check list,

Do l have physical handling problems or dexterity issues.
Would l benefit from a custom made in the ear hearing aid rather than a behind the ear hearing aid
Can l handle batteries or would l benefit from a rechargeable hearing aid which has batteries built into the hearing aid.
How easy is it to clean and mantain my hearing aid or how easy is it to change a wax guard.
Do l need to use the hearing aid with a telephone or mobile phone
