'Finding yourself' is not really how it works. You aren't a ten-dollar bill in last winter's coat pocket. You are also not lost. Your true self is right there, buried under cultural conditioning, other people's opinions, and inaccurate conclusions you drew as a kid that became your beliefs about who your are. 'Finding yourself' is actually returning to yourself, an unlearning, an excavation, a remembering who you were before the world got its hands on you.

So lovely to receive an email today from a couple letting me know they have just got married 💕 and thanking me.
I saw them a couple of years ago for couple counselling and psychosexual therapy.
These emails remind me why I do this job and love it so much. 💜

My area is now moving into Tier 4.
This means that my suggestion is online therapy eg. via Zoom however if you don’t feel this is appropriate I can still offer face to face therapy as before, as come under Mental Health services. So in short no change to currently.

Update regarding Coronavirus; As from 30th October my practice location falls under Tier 3 (Newark & Sherwood).
Working online with clients has been very successful and so I will continue to offer this service so please let me know if you prefer to do so.
I will still continue to offer face to face appointments however a face mask will be needed on entry until seated.
