🐾TWO MORE NEW ARRIVALS COMING TO ELCEE’S THIS WEEKEND🐾
⭐️KARINA & LUCA⭐️ have been waiting patiently for their turn to travel to the UK.

They are both around 5 months old and are typical lively bouncy pups, inquisitive and full of fun.

They are very bonded and will be travelling to the same UK foster home.

Not long now before they be running around together beginning their new life.

Both will be available to adopt following an assessment in foster

What’s On Today

Event: Hickling Scarecrow Festival & Dog Show
Where: Main Street, Hickling (Melton Mowbray area) LE14 3AJ
When: ~10:00-16:00 BST today

Dog Show & Dog Market

The Dog Show is a big feature — lots of fun, engaging categories for pups to show off their personalities and talents. Some class ideas include things like “Best mutt strut,” “Strike a pose,” “Fetch challenges,” etc.

The Dog Market runs alongside, offering pet-friendly goodies: toys, treats, accessories, plus opportunities to meet canine behaviourists, trainers, and health professionals who can advise on wellness etc.

Stalls, Street Entertainment & More

Apart from the dog-centric side, there are lots of stalls: crafts, market stalls, maybe some local artists & photographers, food & drink, pet-accessories, etc.

There’s also street entertainment, teas & refreshments, chances to wander around the scarecrow displays, enjoy the vibe, meet local people, soak in village life.

Tips & Good Vibes

If you’ve brought your dog, make sure they’re comfy: water available, shade if it’s warm, rest breaks.

For the stalls: cash is always handy, but some may take cards.

Explore the scarecrow displays — each year they get more creative, these little straw characters are such a heartwarming expression of community art.

Take your time: there’s much to see & do beyond just the main show-arena.
