✨ Card of the Day + Working with the Clair Senses ✨
When I’m teaching my Tarot students, and in Tarot Club, I often bring in an exercise where we read the cards through our different clair senses.
We focus on the four main ones:
• Clairvoyance – clear seeing
• Clairsentience – clear feeling
• Clairaudience – clear hearing
• Claircognizance – clear knowing
We all have a dominant sense, with one or two that support it. Learning to work with them really deepens your readings and helps you trust what’s coming through.
For example…
🔮 Clairvoyance (seeing)
When you look at your card, go with the very first thing that stands out. Don’t overthink it.
Is it a colour, a symbol, a person, something happening in the background? That first impression matters.
💫 Clairsentience (feeling)
What does the card make you feel? Happy, uneasy, tense, hopeful?
Notice where you feel it in your body.
If you stepped into the card, how would it feel to be there?
🎧 Clairaudience (hearing)
This is the one people often doubt the most.
Imagine the card as a scene in a film… if the character could speak, what would they say?
What tone would their voice have?
✨ Claircognizance (knowing)
What do you just know straight away?
This can feel subtle, but it’s powerful.
What action, decision or truth is this card pointing you towards?
There’s always more depth to Tarot, of course, but this is a simple and powerful way to connect with your cards. Using this with your daily card pull really helps you tune into the message.
🌩 My card today: The Tower
• Clairvoyance – an exploding tower, blowing the lid off something, truths coming out
• Clairsentience – unsettling at first… but there’s a push to get out there
• Clairaudience – “you’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!” 😄
• Claircognizance – time to shake things up. Playing safe isn’t getting me anywhere… but neither is doing too much. Do the unexpected.
What’s your card today… and which clair speaks the loudest for you? ✨
