Busy busy day. Wreath making with Jessica Roberts who gave us so much advice and help to make our own Christmas wreaths, one for each floor.
We were entertained by the Newark District Scout Band this afternoon.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our Christmas coffee morning.

Santa came to visit Bowbridge last night, so our residents could wave him off for this night around middlebeck collecting for the roundtable.
2 of our staff members Louise (carer) and Annabel (activities coordinator) volunteered to go out on the sleigh for the night as Santa's helpers as well, we both had a lovely night out in the local community helping raise money, and even surprised some of the rest of the team by knocking on their doors 🤣

We had a busy few festive days here at Bowbridge, from christmas crafts, to the King's christ church coming to sing for us to our christmas dinner community lunch and much more. We have been having a great week getting in the festive spirit.

Bowbridge court are pleased to support local lads team Crouch this Christmas raise funds for 4louis a charity that works across the county to support families affected by miscarriage, still birth and child loss.
Team crouch will be visiting Bowbridge court to collect funds before their Christmas convoy on the 21st December and to give the residents a light display.
We have a collection box next to the visitors sign in book if you can spare anything please consider this amazing charity.

Feeling nostalgic in Craft Club today by making paper snowflakes, and sharing stories of what we would decorate the house which at christmas as children. We started with plain white paper but as we chatted about christmas past we learnt that many our own Residents used to make paper snowflakes out of old newspapers as it was what they had in the house so we had a go at that too

We had a very busy coffee morning today, i was nice to see friends new and old coming together over a piece of cake.

A big thank you to Caitlin for thinking of our residents at this time of year and donating some fun activities and snacks for our residents as well as some christmas gifts for those who may not receive any on christmas day

In craft Club we decided to make some paper wreaths, we think they all look absolutely lovely hung in our lounges and on our resident doors. What a simple yet stunning creative craft to kick off the christmas season 🎅
