Meet the fantastic Magnus, a fan of all things sporty and outdoors, especially football. He came to me to improve his running as he was getting disheartened at times with other boys being able to run around him as he and the pitches get larger in size, something so many kids experience. Magnus was focused and driven from the start, giving 100% and going from strength to strength throughout the 6-week Youth Running Programme. He's now running with confidence, strength and speed!

tcs London Marathon 2026, was everything I hoped for and so much more! It was hot, it was hard but it was phenomenal. I can't put into words what it feels like running with 59,000 other people from all walks of life, from around the world, in fancy dress, the record breaking elite & the masses. I will never forget the noise and support from the crowds from start to finish. It was incredible and a privilege.

Already an accomplished, strong and talented young athlete, Eve came to me wanting to refine her running technique to enable her to improve her performance at compeition level. An overstride and slow leg recovery was breaking her stride & effectively slowing her down & increasing loading forces. Her posture & inefficient arm drive also needed refining. Using a variety of focused muscle activation and running reprogramming drills, it didn't take Eve long to refine her technique. As a focused, disciplined and motivated athlete, Eve has gone from strength to strength, setting new running PBs at the recent British School Modern Biathlon, on the track and in cross- country. Amazing!

A Movement & Running Masterclasses is the perfect way to introduce Teams, Clubs or Groups to the idea of Good Running Technique and get them thinking about how Running Better & Running more efficiently can Help Improve Performance, Reduce Injury and Enable people to Achieve Their Best.

Thistle Youth Jags 2013 showed up, gave 100% and Aced it! They were Great!

It's been a busy couple of months but over the next few weeks I want to show case some of my recent superstars! I love working with kids. Their focus, enthusiasm and ability to absorb new information never ceases to amaze me. They also love a challenge!

This awesome young footballer was no different. A year ago Zak broke his knee cap and had lost a lot of confidence & belief in himself. What a difference 6 weeks can make. Not only is Zak feeling more confident on the football pitch but he has gone from dreading running to running nearly daily. Can't wait to see the difference the next block of sessions will make.

Another brilliant Newburgh Beach Bash 10k & instead of the usual wind & rain, we were treated to blue skies and a light breeze! Love this event, which is organised by my running club, Newburgh Dunes Running Club. It was great to be able to support the event by donating a couple of spot prizes. The atmosphere, organisation & all important spread at the end were fantastic.

This client came to me because in her own words 'I’m tired of looking at pictures of me running and thinking how awful I look and how bad my form looks, it’s time to do something about it.'

Having represented Britain at the Paralympic games and a host of Para Cycling World Cups, she was already a world class athlete and knew only too well the difference good technique makes to performance.... but like so many, when it came to running she didn't know where to start.

After only 7 weeks of focused technique refinement, the improvement is amazing. She running better, stronger & faster.

This is Orson, another awesome footballer, who came to BMA Running as he'd started feeling sluggish and frustrated as he felt he wasn't moving around the football pitch as fast as he wanted to. Youth can experience significant growth spurts and it can take a while for muscles to catch and the body to adapt to moving longer limbs. As Orson was finding, this can effect balance, movement & speed. Being a focused and highly motivated sports person, it didn't take long for Orson to make the changes he need to run his best. Not only did he smash the fast feet record, he set a new speed and gradient record, running an impressive 15kph at 15%. That is some powerful running.
