FUNGAL FOOT INFECTION

This is a skin problem that affects many people. It often shows up as dry, cracked, peeling, or itchy skin on the soles of the feet or between the toes. Although it may look like just dry skin - it’s caused by fungus that grows in warm, damp areas like sweaty shoes or public showers - this can sometimes be linked to ATHLETE’S FOOT (TINEA PEDIS).

The good news? It can be treated and prevented.

👉 Causes
• Fungus thrives in warm, moist environments (gyms, pools, tight shoes).
• Not drying feet properly after washing.
• Sharing socks, shoes, or towels.

👉 Prevention
• Wash and dry feet daily (especially between toes).
• Change socks regularly and wear breathable shoes.
• Use antifungal powders or sprays if feet get sweaty.
• Wear sandals in public showers or locker rooms.

👉 Cure / Treatment
• At home: Keep feet clean and dry, soak in salty or vinegar water, moisturise cracked skin (avoid between toes).
• Over-the-counter creams/sprays: Clotrimazole, Terbinafine, Miconazole, or Tolnaftate. Use twice daily for 2–4 weeks.
• Doctor’s treatment: If severe or persistent, oral antifungal tablets may be prescribed.

⚠️ Seek medical help if: you have diabetes, the infection spreads, or nails become thick and discoloured.

✅ Keeping your feet clean, dry, and protected is the best way to stay free from fungal infections!

Growth is a lifestyle!

4 years ago, I made a decision that changed everything.

I didn’t just want to be coached, I wanted to understand it, embody it, and live it. I wanted to learn how to take control of my thoughts, my beliefs, my actions, and ultimately, my life.

It’s been years of learning, testing, growing, unlearning, and expanding, and I’m not done. I’ll never be done.
