14/1/26 ⭐️Like and share⭐️ Mid week hairdresser visit today always popular here at Broadmead residents were ready to engage in some board games and jigsaws as well as discussing there favourite books with Activities assistant Joan & Louise today. 1 to 1 are so important to promote independence and support meaningful conversations and relationships amongst residents and staff alike.

This afternoon was games and building to improve dexterity and cognition 😊

🤎 Something new is happening this Friday 🤎

This week I’m trialling a small selection of my bakes at a local care home, which makes my heart sing a little 🤍

It’s really important to me to continue to grow Teddy Bears Bakes in a gentle, community-led way, so starting with a trial feels just right.

I’ll share how it goes – fingers crossed it’s the beginning of something lovely 🤎

We are delighted to welcome Teddy Bear Bakes to Broadmead. Their bakes and pots will be available every Friday, starting this week.

If you’re visiting us, why not bring along a few pennies and treat yourself to a delicious bake? These goodies are available to everyone.

the residents received bird boxes for Christmas and today we filled them with bird seed they enjoyed a spot of bird watching and a round of bingo.

31/12/25 ⭐️Like and share⭐️ As December draws to a close we would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year from us all here at Broadmead.

Residents and visitors enjoyed a karaoke party in the lounge with retro party snacks thankyou to our kitchen team who made cheese and pineapple hedgehogs topped with cocktail cherries 🍒 the residents really enjoyed the nostalgic treat this afternoon with a glass of bubbles and some music.
