When researching for today's post, we discovered that today is National Tequila Day—technically in the US rather than here, but stay with us.😁

We then thought we could do a tongue-in-cheek post about the health benefits of tequila to keep on topic😉. But wouldn't you know, there are possible health benefits! Not from the alcohol, but from the agave that tequila is made from.

Benefits of agave are alleged to include:

Aids digestion
Reduces inflammation
Improves immune function

Loneliness is a growing issue, and we are glad that our classes provide companionship for those who live alone and, for various reasons, may find themselves isolated from friends and family. Although Christmas felt lightyears away as we set up our stall in the blazing summer's heat last month, our Christmas Lunch Initiative was at the forefront of our minds. It was the reason we were standing in the middle of a field on a blazing hot Sunday in June. Read our latest blog to find out more 😎💙🙏

Following on from our posts last week, here is a tip we use in class to help keep cool in the heat:

Wet your arms and then gently wave them up and down. As water evaporates from your skin, it cools you. Waving your arms around increases air flow., which helps the water to evaporate faster, enhancing the cooling effect 💦
