What a night!

Friday saw us celebrating the 20th anniversary of Home Instead at the stunning Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. Melissa, Paul and Jade & Anna from our Newbury team, along with Pippa & Jo O from our Maidenhead team, were there to enjoy the celebrations.

The evening began with a fantastic awards dinner, hosted by The Masked Singers Joel Dommett — and we were thrilled to pick up an award for the Newbury office! (Photos to follow, as we were all up on stage and couldn’t grab one at the time!)

After dinner, we headed into the Great Room for an incredible evening with Jason Donovan. We had an amazing time singing along to Especially for You and all his other 80s hits.

It was a truly fantastic night — a wonderful way to celebrate the hard work and dedication of everyone - our incredible office and Care Professional teams - who make Home Instead a wonderful place to work and to receive care in the comfort of home.

Happy 10 Year Work Anniversary to our fabulous Jo O! 🎉

This month marks 10 years since Jo joined us at Home Instead, and we are just as happy today as we were then to have her as part of our team.

Jo began her journey as a Care Professional, visiting clients in their own homes each day and helping them remain safe, comfortable, and well supported. She then moved into the office team as a Care Coordinator, carefully matching our Care Professionals with the right clients and ensuring schedules ran smoothly so everyone was exactly where they needed to be, when they needed to be!

A few years later, Jo joined the hourly care Client Services team, supporting clients in the Maidenhead area. For the past three years, she has been our Live-In Care Manager, overseeing live-in care packages and ensuring our clients receive exceptional support while continuing to enjoy the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Jo, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and hard work over the past decade. Home Instead truly wouldn’t be Home Instead without you! 💜

Every year at Home Instead, we run an anonymous survey with our clients, Care Professionals, and office team. It gives everyone the chance to share how we’re doing and where we could improve - although we like to think they’d tell us anytime! 😊

We’ve just received this year’s results and will be sharing the feedback throughout the coming month.

First up: feedback from our wonderful clients. As we have two offices - Home Instead Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford and Home Instead Abingdon, Didcot & Newbury - we’ve combined the results.

We’re absolutely delighted to share that 100% of our clients would recommend us. What fantastic feedback - and something we’re incredibly proud of! 🌟
