This Friday we are officially beginning our Singing group. This one has organically become a women's only space. I have a mixed gender group in the making so do contact me if you are interested in that.

If you want to come on Friday, your first session is donation only (pay what you can if you can). I would love to welcome you into my home for a nourishing evening of singing on the water. Drop me a message to join.

I'm pleased to announce the boat group TASTER SESSION is now fully booked!!

If you missed out and you still want to be immersed in the joys of singing as a group. Come and try our 'Sing In Nature' family friendly group on 6th March. Bring your kids, dogs, and anyone else you can think of! We will sing and walk in Snelsmore Common Country Park all wrapped up with a warm drink in the cafe.

Come and sing over the gentle sway of the river.
Being on, in or near water (often referred to as 'Blue Health') Significantly lowers stress, anxiety and cortisol levels. Singing with others releases 'happy hormones' like endorphins and serotonin and fosters a sense of belonging.

2) Nature Walk family friendly group. Snelsmore Common 10:30-12noon.

Another one that was taught to me on our training by a fellow trainee and wonderful person Penny. I am so grateful to have been introduced to this wonderful song and Sophia’s voice, music, harmonies and all she’s about!

I don’t believe I have done the harmonies justice just yet but thought I’d keep this one true to singing mamas ethos, nothing is perfect we just sing for joy with our babes! As you can probably hear I was learning this one with Eva in tow. She loved it so much! I got taught two parts on our workshop but couldn’t resist giving the other two parts a go once I’d heard them! 🧡

Will do some more learning and get them nailed ready for our first group on January 8th.

This beautiful song is by from her album Sisters Of The Moon.

It was taught to me at my singing mamas training by the amazing woman that is Rachel hales…. Rachel has such a healing presence and I feel so privileged to have shared my training with her and all the other 17 woman that came, souls bare, song sharing.

Rachel gave us all a homemade cacao chocolate and told us of its love inducing qualities. She then slowly taught us this 2 part harmony. We sang and sang and then she offered us to come in twos and stand in the centre of the circle and receive the love being poured out into the centre from our voices. Tears flowed like decades of pain being released by us all and soaked up with so much love…

It was a moment I will cherish for life and can come back to on days like today when I really need to hear these words…

Singing as a group is so powerful.
Singing Mamas offers a space for woman to feel safe, and loved and supported. I am so grateful to be beginning this new path with music. Song sharing at its most genuine and pure.
