We are thrilled to welcome Newbury College to Falkland Grange Care Home, Newbury with a special project with Foundation Learning wherein students visit with our residents regularly every Tuesday morning to play games. Our residents enjoyed a traditional Burns Day Celebration!⭐

We celebrated good fellowship and the works of national poet, Robert Burns and we were joined by James Meiklejohn who played the bag pipes.🎶

Our team prepared the traditional dish of haggis and tatties, followed by coffee and a wee dram whilst we had a quiz honouring Scottish traditions in the Bistro.👏

Our residents at Falkland Grange Care Home, Newbury celebrated National Cheese Lover's Day — a delicious observance dedicated to one of the world's most beloved foods. From creamy Brie to bold blues and aged classics, our hospitality team prepared a smorgasbord of favourites! Our nibbles were followed by a cheesy! quiz. We know how important it is to stay connected with those we care about, so every day at 3pm our team members pause what they are doing to spend one-on-one time with our residents. Whether going for a walk in the garden, playing a game of chess or enjoying a simple cup of tea, these moments of connection are beneficial for everybody.
