You don’t hate your job.

You’re just tired of managing people.
Tired of absorbing moods.
Tired of bracing before conversations.

That tight feeling in your chest isn’t weakness.

It’s anticipation.

Before you step out of the car, pause.

Spirit is not sending you in alone.

Ask for support.

Ask for protection over your energy.

What you think is happening:

You need better boundaries.
You need to toughen up.
You need to stop being so sensitive.

What is actually happening:

You absorbed what wasn’t yours.
And you never put it down.

When you carry energy that isn’t yours:

- Your intuition gets cloudy
- Your sleep becomes shallow
- You feel emotionally reactive
- You start doubting yourself

You don’t need fixing.

You need separation.
You need grounding.
You need nervous system safety.

“What am I still holding?”

And imagine placing it down beside you.

Then say quietly:
**I am safe to soften.**

Family can be where you feel the most love.

And where you feel the most misunderstood.

Both can exist at the same time.

When I was little, I was lucky. My mum understood my sensitivity. She explained the things I saw and felt so I never felt frightened or strange.

But even with love, family dynamics shape us.

Roles get assigned.
Silence gets normalised.
Certain feelings get tucked away.

And as adults, we carry them without realising.

Maybe you are:

• The peacemaker who never says what you really think
• The strong one who is “fine” even when you are not
• The sensitive one who absorbs everyone else’s emotions
• The one who feels a small knot in your stomach before family gatherings

You show up.
You cope.
You tell yourself it is not a big deal.

But your body knows when something is unresolved.

Unspoken tension does not disappear.
It settles in the nervous system.

This week’s affirmation:

I share unconditional love and receive it in return.

Notice the receive.

Are you allowing love back in?
Or are you still working for it?

Overthinking is loud.

It replays the conversation from Tuesday.
It rewrites the email you already sent.
It imagines three possible futures before breakfast.

And it tells you that if you just think a little harder, you will finally feel safe.

But that is not intuition.

Overthinking loops.

- It circles the same fear.
- It looks for certainty.
- It feels urgent.
- It tightens your chest.

Intuition does not loop.

It lands.

It is usually simple.
Often quiet.
Sometimes inconvenient.

It sounds like:

“Not that one.”
“Wait.”
“Yes. That.”

No spiral.
No drama.
No frantic energy.

If what you are feeling is making your body tense and your thoughts race, that is protection mode.

If what you are feeling drops into your body and feels steady, even if it is uncomfortable, that is guidance.

You do not need more thinking.

You need to notice how it feels in your body.

This week, when a decision comes up, pause and ask:

Does this feel frantic.
Or grounded.

Your body will tell you the difference.
