There's something that happens in sacred spiritual spaces between women that I've never experienced anywhere else.
No competition. No need to mirror someone else's energy or show up as a carefully edited version of yourself. No performing wellness or pretending everything is fine when it isn't.
Sunday's meditation circle at Elements of Avebury reminded me of this again. We sat together, passed the talking stick, and shared what was really on our minds, and something extraordinary happened - women listened.
Really listened. Without advice, without judgment, without trying to fix anything.
Even when someone shared something heavy or painful, the energy in that room stayed light and uplifting. Because that's what happens when women gather in genuinely sacred space - the love is so present that even difficult things feel held rather than heavy.
This is so different from regular female friendship, as beautiful as that is. Sacred sisterhood has an energetic container around it that transforms everything shared within it.
Every woman deserves to experience being truly witnessed in a space like this. Where your sensitivity is celebrated, your spiritual experiences are completely normal, and you can be wholeheartedly, unapologetically yourself.
Have you ever experienced sacred sisterhood like this? Or is it something you're craving? Tell me in the comments. ๐
