''Legthy update, please read''

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine and have a wonderful Mother’s Day tomorrow. 💐

This isn’t quite a post I ever thought I’d be writing, but I feel it’s time to share an update. As some of you already know, and have been so understanding about, I’ve been struggling with my joints — mainly my shoulders, wrists, and fingers, and more recently my hips too.

I’m currently back and forth with the GP and have referrals in place while we try to get some answers, although as we all know these things can take time.

Because of this, I’ve already had to cut back on the amount of massage I’m doing, as I’m having more flare-up days that can be extremely painful. Thank you so much to everyone who has been patient and understanding when I’ve needed to reschedule appointments — it really does mean a lot. Some days are better than others; sometimes pain medication helps, and other days it barely touches it.

From the 23rd of March, I will also be starting a course to further my career in the industry. It will take around a year to complete, so I will now be closed on Mondays. This will leave Tuesday and Sunday evenings available for treatments.

At the moment, I’m not entirely sure what the next few months will look like as my body can be quite unpredictable. However, I will always give my best, and I will always be honest if I’m not able to give a treatment safely.

This has had an impact on both my daily life and the business I’ve worked so hard to build, but there are also positives that I’m looking forward to, and I’ll share more about those soon.

I’m still doing everything I can to keep supporting my lovely clients and continuing the business I care so much about.

Deep tissue- I am no longer able to offer deep tissue as a stand alone treatment - I will give as much as I physically can.

Facials - 1h20min facials have now been discontinued.

We are predicted more snow tomorrow morning (Monday 5th) also freezing tempratures tonight meaning it'll be snow and icy on the roads leading to us. As some of you are aware, I’m still unsure what 2026 will look like for the business due to some personal physical reasons. I’m keeping an open mind, staying open to new opportunities, and most importantly, listening to my body. I’ll be taking things day by day.

I’ve been a therapist for 10 years, and I’m so deeply grateful that I’ve had the opportunity and support to run my own business. If this chapter does come to an end in 2026, it will be sad, but I trust that my path is shifting in the way it needs to.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for supporting me, trusting me, and recommending me to others. It truly means more than I can put into words. I’ll keep you all updated as the year goes on, and I’ll do my best to continue for as long as I’m able, whatever that may look like.

The AMBER Warning for rain issued by the Met Office has since been updated. The area now covers a larger area across South & West Wales. The YELLOW Warning for rain covers the majority of Wales.

🟡 YELLOW WARNING: 01/12 @ 00:00 to 02/12 @ 03:00.
🟠 AMBER WARNING: 01/12 @ 00:00 to 23:59.

Heavy rain is likely to bring some disruption and probable flooding on Monday. THE MET OFFICE HAS RATED THE DISRUPTION AS HIGH IMPACT.

👉🏼 20-40mm of rain will fall extensively across the wider region
👉🏼 60-80mm is expected to accumulate over some south- and southwest-facing high ground in south Wales
👉🏼 100-120mm in central regions to the warnings.
⚠️ In addition to the potential for flooding impacts, this increases the chance of landslides on both natural and infrastructure slopes.

— WHAT TO EXPECT —
⚠️ Extensive flooding of homes and businesses is possible
⚠️ Roads will potentially close, along with bus and train service delays and cancellations
⚠️ Dangerous driving conditions might occur because of spray and flooded roads
⚠️ Loss of power and other essential services, such as gas, water or mobile phone services, is possible
⚠️ Damage to buildings and structures or building collapse might happen
⚠️ Communities could be completely cut off by floodwater, perhaps for several days
⚠️ Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life
