So on Tuesday I had my post op check, and I’ve been given the all clear to come back to work next week 🥳

The only issue is that I was also given the all clear to resume all jumping/archery/heavy lifting, so your going to have to pry me away from the yard to get me back to work 😉

Apologies for anyone that I’ve had to reschedule over the last couple of days. I’ve just spent the morning in Morriston with my littlest son who has now had surgery to take his nail off and clean the nail bed.
We’re on our way home and I’m hoping we’ll be back to normal tomorrow ❤️

I am extremely fortunate to be part of an amazing chiropractic community where we share our skills and help each other. Yesterday, I visited Ben at tenbychiropractic for a ni**le in my right foot that I’ve been trying to ignore for months! Some of you might already know Ben if I’ve ever referred you for an ultrasound scan.

As part of my appointment he did an ultrasound scan to confirm that I definitely have plantar fasciitis- you can see in this image the different thickness in the tendon on the right compared to the tendon on the left.

I then had my first shockwave therapy. It felt like someone flicking the inside of my foot with an elastic band - not painful, but a weird sensation!! It’s not a quick fix, it’s a process, but I’m already feeling a little easier on the foot.

I’ll be skipping around snowdon marathon by October 🤣 I would highly recommend Ben and his shockwave machine for anyone struggling with chronic tendinitis ❤️

Yesterday I popped up to Cardiff for my pre op assessment, but these two were there when I got home to give me super snuggles. My surgery date is set for the 21st of February, so that means there’s only 3 weeks left to get an appointment with me before I have 6 weeks off 🫣

The very wonderful and very capable Gitte will be covering my patients while off, so if anyone needs anything, she will have access to all my notes ❤️
