Calf session number 2 ...

Getting on top of calf tightness from increasing her running. With another hyrox due soon maintenance is key 👌

I think she hates calves the most 🤷‍♀️😂😂

Apologies for the swearing but its the best bit🙈

Treatment sister two with my sister ...

Clearly didnt learn from the first time 🫠😂😂

Today we were treating the hip, very tight over the hip flexor area mainly from running. However feeling much better than the first treatment session.

This is due to a combination of stretching more regularly and some trigger point release 🤗

P.S . Not ONE physio out there knows their rights from their lefts 😬🫠😂😂

Training life lately 🙃🫠

Nursing a potential stress fracture for the last few months has not been fun😫🥺

Training has had to change to less impact, which means no running - making me feel fluffy🐷🙃
Easing off some exercises which haven't agreed with my injury
Lots of stretching and rehab - practice what you preach and all that 👀
Lots of upper and pull done 💪

Tried some push for the first time in a while today (my god my fitness has gone😭)

Providing guidance to patients everyday on all of the above comes natural & supporting them until the end is in my nature. ... but not when its yourself who has to take on the advice and guidance 🫠

Feeling like you aren't achieving or progressing is a horrible feeling 🥲

But slow and steady to build myself back up 🙌
